Brace yourself for the (following) PDS-PATCH-STRATEGY: At a given date (to fit our schedule), we insist, that we end to TRY to patch (complete, fix and optimize) as little as possible in regards to our latest "update" ...Machine Empires: You should know, that the V1.0-base-game had already robots, droids and synths, but they were such a skeleton \/ joke of a "finished" feature, that PDS had made this (separated) DLC as the actual \/ serious approach.. As it is, I can't recommend this expansion. I loved playing with synthetics prior to version 2.0, but now they are a rather useless. While most things in version 2.0 were positive changes, the developers did a much needed nerf, but they went too far with the nerf. When starting a new game in version 2.0, I was immediately losing resources. Not only that but the biotrophies, which are a key feature of my favorite type of synthetic government, have been too expensive to maintain after a "buff" that made synthetics produce more energy but less food. As it is, unless you prefer pre-2.0 stellaris, synthetic dawn is the worst DLC to get.. One of the best DLC in Stellaris. You can create an AI with special government principles as exterminating, assimilating and enslaving species in unique ways (chemically processing them, creating something similar to a matrix for energy supply) This DLC is amazing! The only thing that it needs is have his own style of ships and cities of a machine empire.. One of the best DLC in Stellaris.
